Small Group Ministry

Small Group ministries are organized on an ad-hoc basis and can include either external or internal church efforts. External community ministries generally are service in nature and sometimes develop into broader and permanent church efforts, such as our partnership with Bryant Woods Elementary. Internal groups are usually directed toward spiritual growth and awareness for our church members.

One recent small group ministry brought a dozen people together to discuss the book The Color of Law by Richard Rothstein. Members of the group shared and expanded our knowledge, understanding and impact of the history of government-sponsored housing exclusion in America. The review supports our congregational anti racism efforts.
